DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – A fire has declared in a stadium that will host the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Interior Minister of Qatar announced.

The ministry said on its official Twitter page: "The civil defense has besieged a fire in the vicinity of the stadium without casualties."

The stadium will host the 2022 World Cup, from the group stage to the quarter-finals, with a capacity of 40 fans.

Qatar is preparing to host the 2022 World Cup for the first time in the Middle East. Oman and Kuwait should participate in the event of an increase in the number of teams participating in the World Cup at 48.
