Firefox can start blocking notifications requests on websites

Many sites ask you for permission to send notifications, but many of you ignore these requests. These notifications are often annoying, especially if they have similar themes, as noted by Mozilla. As a result, they are now trying to block notifications for notifications on the websites of the latest Firefox browser. Notification requests will be automatically blocked until the user performs certain actions on the site in question.

Mozilla says its data shows that less than three percent of the notification requests sent to Firefox users are authenticated. This means that the vast majority of users never agree to receive website notifications. The company's data also showed that one in five people had to leave the site that had sent the application immediately.

Therefore, in Firefox browser, named Firefox Nightly, notification requests will not be displayed on websites unless the user has made a specific action to enable this feature. This trial will continue until April 29.

The browser will also start displaying an icon from April 15 in the address bar indicating that the site wants to send notifications. Mozilla is currently testing this feature, so it's too early to tell if it will reach the official and stable version of Firefox.
