Google acquired Fitbit in the last period, and after the acquisition was completed, Google began to improve the software for the company’s smartwatch versions, with new updates the company is offering more functionality to users.
In a new update today, Fitbit offered Charge 4 smartwatch users the benefit of accessing blood oxygen data through the smartwatch screen, as access to these data was previously limited to the sleep app, and the update also brings skin temperature data which is provided for the first time to charge 4 users.
The update also helps Charge 4, Versa 2, and Inspire 2 smartwatch users access the Health Metrics feature that was previously provided exclusively to premium service subscribers.
The dashboard also displays the respiratory rate during sleep and the change in heart rate during a specific period of time, and the company is also expanding the EKG function to new markets such as Canada and New Zealand, as well as the issues that appeared in the ECG function has been addressed by some users of the watch.
