Emirates, the world’s largest international carrier, announced today that it will offer its first scheduled daily service with an Airbus A380 to Istanbul, starting October 1.
This came according to a statement released by carrier Emirates today, Tuesday, and Emirates Airlines will operate an A380 aircraft to serve one of its daily flights to Istanbul.
Flight EK 123 leaves Dubai at 10:45 am and arrives at Istanbul International Airport at 2:25 pm. As for the return flight, “EK 124”, it leaves Istanbul at 4:25 pm and arrives at Dubai International Airport at 9:50 pm.
The A380 aircraft, which will be operated by Emirates on the route to Istanbul, offers 517 seats in three classes: 14 private suites in First Class, 76 seats convertible to fully flat beds in Business Class and 427 comfortable seats in Economy Class, which will increase the capacity of each flight by more than 150 seats compared to the Boeing 777-300ER currently in service.
Emirates Commercial Director Adnan Kazim said: “We are delighted that Istanbul is joining the list of other major cities we currently serve with our A380 aircraft.
