Books – Ali Bahji:

Egypt won the World Handball Championship for the first time after beating Germany 32-28 in the final between them in Macedonia.

The crowning success of the junior handball team is another success, in addition to Egyptian handball, after the youth team reached third place in the tournament last July in Spain.

Egypt is one of the most competing countries at the Junior World Cup, which started in 2005 in Qatar.

It was not the first time that handball had brought Egypt to the podium at the World Championships. Before reaching 2019, which had been achieved at the expense of Germany, Egypt had won the honor of five podiums.

The first climb of Egypt on the podium took place in 1993, after the youth team won the World Handball Championship at the expense of Denmark.

The Egyptian junior handball team returned to the podium in 1999, but this time after winning the bronze medal.

At the African Games level, Egypt was first in 2010 and second in 2014.

It was the sixth climb of Egypt on the podium of the junior team, having won the title at the expense of Germany in 2019.
