Hamad said that the Arab countries' view on cooperation with the countries of the high basins should move to a realistic vision taking into account the common interests with these countries and the recognition of their right to a fair and reasonable exploitation, guaranteed by international and customary law, without prejudice to the interests of the Arab countries. To help the basin countries implement effective water policies that recover rainwater, provide clean water and sanitation facilities. especially in African countries, and to develop the water resources of these countries in general.
