Robbie Fowler, legend of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in Liverpool, defended the charges he was pursuing recently in the penalty box for a shot on goal.
"I do not understand why Salah was accused of cheating all the time, and why Harry Ken or Michael Owen and many players have not been criticized," Fowler said.
Fowler added, "We need to think about why Salah is continually being criticized because of his nationality or his person, or because he is a non-English player."
"In many games, Salah is struggling not to fall easily," he said. "Other times, he falls theatrically, and he does not do it in football."
Salah is under fire from critics for trying to get a representative penalty, which was denied by his teammates, Liverpool supporters and German coach Juergen Klopp.
Liverpool occupy first place in the English Premier League this season with 60 points, four points lower than Manchester City.
