Future Macs may be able to charge wireless accessories

At present, most of our computers' wireless accessories work with batteries, such as keyboards and mice. This means that if the battery runs out, the accessory will become useless and we will have to recharge it in order to reuse it. There are often warnings in advance to warn us when the battery level is low.

But what if this situation improves in the future and we do not have to worry about shipments anymore? Well, that seems to be what Apple is exploring, thanks to a patent recently discovered by Apple Insider, in which the company got a patent for the idea of ​​using Mac computers to charge wireless devices.

This will be done by using radio waves, and as long as the keyboard and mouse remain charged. As you can see in the table below, the general idea is that as long as you use these accessories naturally on the desktop, they must be shipped wirelessly.

This is not really the first time that Apple is trying to come up with ideas for wireless charging. The company has already been granted a patent for the idea that it could allow MacBooks to charge other wireless devices, including the iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch. Unfortunately, it is still a patent. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this will materialize, even though in recent years, Apple has begun to adopt wireless charging technology in many other devices.
