Galaxy Note 10 phones set sales record in South Korea

Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 + phones set a new record in South Korea. This record consists of breaking sales of these phones to 1 million units less than 25 days after their first sale. The disc previously belonged to the Galaxy S8 series, whose sales exceeded 1 million units 37 days after its launch. The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 +'s first month performance is the best ever compared to any other Galaxy S Series and Galaxy Note Series, and more than doubled from the Galaxy Note 9.

The combined pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 + combined reached 1.3 million in just 10 days. It is therefore not surprising that the actual sales figures are quite similar. As expected, sales of Galaxy Note 10 + phones outpaced normal Galaxy Note 10 sales. Specifically, Galaxy Note 10 + accounted for 67% of total sales. Samsung also reports that the number of customers and customers in their 20s has increased with the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 + compared to the Galaxy Note 9, but does not provide concrete numbers.

Only 5G versions of Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 + have been launched in South Korea. The South Korean government reportedly asked Samsung to launch LTE models of both phones because of the relatively limited availability of 5G networks in the country, but it is still unclear whether the company will do so. Sales of Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ may have been much higher in South Korea if customers could buy LTE versions of these phones at lower prices, but Samsung will certainly be satisfied with the standard sales already made.
