Italian striker Sebastien Giovinco scored two goals to lead Al-Hilal to a 2-1 win over Al-Faisaly, bolstering the Saudi Professional League championship lead.
Giovinco, a former Juventus player, put the hosts in the lead after 18 minutes of play, after taking advantage of a defensive mistake to score at point blank range.
Al Hilal was in a difficult position after Brazil's Igor Rossi tied for Al-Faisali early in the second period with a header.
Giovinco returned to Hilal with an individual effort after deflecting a defender and shooting a low shot in the net 11 minutes before the end.

Luis Gustavo almost took the visitors by the head, but the ball hit the net in the final minutes.
Al Hilal defender, Yasser Al Shahrani, was sent off after a time out, but that did not affect the outcome.
The defending champions collected 55 points six points ahead of their closest rivals, with eight games to play at the end of the season.
The balance of Al-Faisali at 30 points was in eighth position.
