Al-Ahli's first women's volleyball team won the African championship title after defeating Carthage in the final with three games in one inning.
The Red Citadel team welcomed its Tunisian counterpart Carthage on Monday evening at the meeting held at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Hall branch of Al Ahli club on the island.
The match was strong and very competitive, as it was not easy for the women of the Al Ahli club, especially after the victory of the Tunisian team in the first half.
The women of Al Ahli managed to come back in the next matches, the team having settled the following three matches in its favor, to finally win the title.
Al Ahli's women's team won the title Monday night, reaching the tenth title in its history after winning 9 titles before.
