French striker Pavitembe Gomez responded to the news of his return to the Turkish league, through the door of the traditional opponent of his former team, Fenerbahce.
Gomez joined Al Hilal in the summer of 2018, coming from the ranks of Turkish Galata Saray, and was able to score 21 goals last season in the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Cup.
Gomez told CNNTURK that his meeting with Fenerbahce's sports director, Damien Kumuli, was nothing more than a meeting with friends and that it had nothing to do with the negotiations on his transfer to the Turkish club.
"I respect Fenerbahce and Besiktas, and wish them a good season, but hopefully they'll stay behind Galatasaray," said Gomez.
