Google launched the Allo app in 2016 and temporarily suspended its investment in April because it "has not reached the level of attraction desired by the company".

Hangover is going through an identity crisis since Google launched it as an alternative to Gchat in 2013. The service has lost its features in recent years as the company has stopped updating and the text messaging.
