Google has announced the start of testing of a new feature in its Internet search engine, to facilitate user access to data.
Google explained that users of its search engine on computers and Android devices currently in the United States are able to get more useful information about the things they are looking for on the Internet.
Thanks to the new functionality, an additional sign appears to the user next to each of the search results that they obtain through the Google browser, and by clicking on that mark, they will see data that includes information about the site that the result includes, and whether this site is free or a paid ad site, and on the existing information source Active.
This feature also lets users know whether or not the site that appears to them in the search results list uses secure protocols.
“This feature allows users to make more informed decisions about the sites they visit, and also gives them additional information about sites they are unfamiliar with, without the need to perform additional research,” said Google in a blog post on its official website.
This feature is currently being tested by Internet users in the United States via computers and Android devices, and it is expected to appear in other countries soon.
