A new feature that Google Maps has started to make available to its users on Android and iPhone phones is to know the speed limits on roads and radar control stations, also called "speed trap".
The new feature, which drivers have been waiting for a long time to avoid, is to break the speed rules or avoid roads containing radars.
Google Maps will issue a warning sound for drivers to approach the "speed trap", according to the official website of the Android Police.
The "Speed Trap" feature will be available to users in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, India and Indonesia, while speed limits will be available to users in the United States, United Kingdom and Denmark.
Google has begun testing the speed limit feature on map implementation since 2017, but is limited to two regions, the Gulf of California and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Google Maps users on Android are already starting to see the new feature in the cities of Los Angeles, New York and Minnesota, according to Android Police, which said that iPhone device owners will soon begin to receive warnings from speed.
