The technical site “GSM Arena” mentioned that international press reports revealed that the American company “Google” is currently developing a new feature that automatically records calls from strangers on the phone.
According to the site, the report indicated that the new communication application “Google iPhone” will soon receive a new update to automatically record the calls of any stranger not registered via a contact list.
Google is currently testing the new service through its Pixel devices, in addition to Nokia and Xiaomi phones.
The report states that the special feature of this new technology is that “Google” will inform both parties that this call will be recorded and allow the owner of the phone to stop recording the call, before or during the call.
It is decided that “Google” will provide this service to all Android phones after testing on those selected phones is completed.
For its part, “Google” said that these recordings are kept on users’ phones, and are not viewed by officials of the US company or that a copy is kept on the company’s servers.
