Google has decided to block digital currency creation applications in its PlayStore app store, following a similar move by Apple Inc..
This comes after Google recently updated the application developer policies through which it banned several categories of applications, including digital currency exploration applications.
Google would allow individuals to create applications that would allow them to manage their digital currency extraction activities elsewhere, such as cloud computing platforms: "We do not allow applications that create digital currencies on machines ".
Google had previously blocked the creation of digital currency on its search engine "Chrome".
The creation of digital currencies often requires a large processing capacity to speed up the process, which poses a threat to smart phones because the process warms the device and also weakens the battery.
Some malware bands also use digital currencies to enter the devices.
This decision is another step in the steps of tech companies and banks to tighten digital currency, where Apple announced, last month, policies similar to the store, which restrict the use of encrypted monetary resources .
