A recent technical report revealed that much of the Google Chrome browser's passwords were not safe or that it had been exposed to possible hacking.
In February, a new feature was announced in Google Chrome so that users could perform a thorough check to determine if their accounts were compromised.
Users can download a "password verification", this service analyzes a database of 4 million compromised passwords.
Once the scan is complete, this service indicates if your password is part of the compromised words.
According to data, recently announced by Google, 650,000 people downloaded this service and discovered, during the examination, that 316,000 of them were not safe enough and that the proportion of hacked accounts was 1.25%.
These accounts are unsafe or hacked, accounts of financial or governmental institutions and shopping sites where people use their bank cards, which shows the degree of risk of these vulnerabilities.
