Google is trying to update the Android operating system to improve the life of the phone's battery.

Google seems to have decided to update the dark mode on Android devices with the help of a new version called Android Q.

"In order to succeed the dark situation, we need all elements of the user interface to be completely dark by May 2019," he said.

The May deadline marks the first preview of the company's Android Q platform for developers.

Many applications currently support Google's dark mode, but require users to manually enable it, even if this feature is enabled in the Device Settings menu.
