CEOWORLD magazine published a recent report on the best countries for women in terms of certain criteria such as equality, in addition to a number of indicators and characteristics they enjoy in these countries in 2020.

Sweden ranked first in the world in terms of the best country for women to live in in the world, Denmark ranked second, the Netherlands third, Norway fourth and Canada fifth.

The study indicated that there are different patterns of discrimination and crime against women around the world, but their size and intensity differ from country to country.

Regional, ethnic and socio-economic factors play a critical role in determining the objectivity of the treatment of women and gender equality.

And the study noted that no country in the world is 100% safe for women to enjoy the freedom to live on an equal basis with men, but some countries are better than others when it comes to equal rights, social inclusion and a sense of security.

• According to the study, Saudi Arabia ranked first in the Arab world in terms of the status of women in society, and it ranked 89 in the world with a rate of 75.49.
• The Sultanate of Oman came second in the Arab world and 91 in the world, with a score of 75.11.
• Jordan ranked third in the Arab world and 96 in the world, with an estimated rate of 74.11.
• And in fourth place in the Arab world, the UAE was ranked 100 in the world, with a rate of around 73.16.
• Algeria ranked fifth in the Arab world and 104th globally, with an estimated rate of 72.74.
• As for Sudan, it ranks sixth in the Arab world and 105 in the world, with an estimated rate of 72.57.
• Qatar ranked seventh in the Arab world and 107 in the world, with an estimated rate of 72.03.
• Kuwait ranked eighth in the Arab world and 111 in the world, with an estimated rate of 71.15.

Iraq ranked 11th among Arabs, Egypt 12th, Tunisia 14th, Bahrain 15th, Yemen 16th Arabs and Syria 17th.

According to the site, these results come from a survey of approximately 256,700 women around the world, the magazine released its annual ranking of the best countries for women in 156 countries around the world.

These countries earned degrees based on 9 characteristics that distinguish women, namely Gender equality, percentage of legislative seats held by women, sense of security (women aged 15 and over who report feeling safe walking alone at night ), income equality, concern for human rights, empowerment of women, average years of education for women Women aged 25 and over who exercise a gainful activity and integration of women into society.
