The story started when a newspaper article was published talking about the beauty of artist Haifa Wehbe and her eyes, and it seems that the article did not live up to one of the followers, who assaulted her harshly and hostility, demanding to stop publishing the article after wishing for the death of the artist and accused her of moral charges.

The famous Lebanese artist did not control herself, and entered a barrage of violent insults which she posted on her page on “Instagram”, attacking her criticism, saying: “The scheduled and brutal comments under our photos and videos, especially those in Arabic, if they indicate anything, it is that they have people (blasphemy). And their confidence is zero“.

Haifa continued the reprimand link by saying, “It is necessary that every state prohibits all (blasphemy).“.

Followers of the Haifa Pages, via “social media”, were divided over the actress’ behavior, as many viewed her statements as “barbaric and inappropriate, no matter what the fault of the person criticizing her”..

On the contrary, others consider that “the artist has feelings and feelings like any other citizen, and has the right to express his anger and his insults even if necessary, as long as he is not the one who has. started by mistake ”..

Accept the rules of “social networks”

Art critic Nader Adly commented, in statements to “Sky News Arabia”, saying: “One of the biggest flaws of social networking sites is that the artist finds thousands of comments with praise and accepts them, while he revolts simply because he has been exposed to criticism or insults in particular, and it is strange, let alone if I accepted the rules of these sites to accept them completely, which amounts to accepting praise and accepting slander at the same time.

He stressed that the artists “have voluntarily accepted that the Swiss media are one of the propaganda tools that increase their fame, not just newspapers or websites, and from there they have to accept this formula”.

He continued, “As for the issue of violent comments from the masses, it’s natural to find someone who doesn’t like you and seeks to destroy you as a star. The artist has to be smart to know who hates him. and who loves him., and not be tempted by the desires of his haters to drag him down the slippery slope of the pun, especially as amateurs. Dealing with social media, they are good at attracting artists in this stage. “
