The Ministry of Health continues to publish the #Kony-Good-for-Me campaign, which provides separate, integrated awareness-raising content focused on the health of mother and child, from the pre-pregnancy stage and during pregnancy, after pregnancy, during delivery and on newborn health care. The births in the kingdom in 2018 amounted to 587160 births.
The Ministry of Health insisted on the importance of conducting medical examinations and necessary vaccinations before pregnancy, consuming foods rich in iron to prevent anemia and taking a vitamin D supplement so to promote healthy teeth and bones and take folic acid tablets when planning pregnancy until the twelfth week.
The ministry explained, among the advice to those who intend to design through the campaign, that women should receive the necessary vaccines before, during and after pregnancy, in order to preserve their health and that of the fetus after consulting the doctor, where a series of sensitization containing these tips has been published at the expense of health.
