The "Iron Dome" system was launched Thursday evening by sirens in the city of Tel Aviv and surrounding areas, for fear of firing rockets towards the city.
"The details are in the study," Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adarai said in a statement.
The Israeli television channel also reported that the iron dome had intercepted two missiles over Tel Aviv, after monitoring them and issuing warning sirens.
