Egypt won the first handball tournament against Hungary 30-30 in the group stage of the fourth round of the Handball World Championship in Germany and Denmark.
The Pharaohs had an excellent first half, despite the shaky start early in the first game, but they were able to quickly remedy the situation thanks to the brilliance of Mohamed Al Tayyar's goalkeeper, as well to Ali Zain, Red, Sind, Islam and Shield.
In the second half, Egypt increased the lead to 4 goals, but their superiority over the Hungarian was easily overcome, so Hungary could change the result to end the 30-30 draw.
The Pharaohs are in Group D with Qatar, Argentina, Hungary, Angola and Sweden, while Angola remains in the final.
The tournament will be held with the first three teams of the four groups of the main round, consisting of two teams each consisting of six teams, ranked according to the number of points of each team in the first round.
