Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri said the recent British decision to include Hezbollah in his political and military arms on the terror list is an internal British issue and does not concern Lebanon.
"We see that it is an affair of Britain and not of Lebanon," said Hariri in a statement to the Egyptian channel DMC on the sidelines of the Arab-European summit of Sharm el-Sheikh.
"We want to see Lebanon as Lebanon and its people, and therefore, we believe that we must maintain the best relations with all and it is the basis for the future of Lebanon," said Hariri.
Britain has announced the inclusion of the Lebanese "Hezbollah" political wing on the terror list. The military wing of "Hezbollah" has been on the British terror list for years.
