Huawei, the Chinese electronics giant, has settled the controversy over the launch of a phone supporting its new Harmony operating system, pointing out that this will not happen in 2019 nor will the ## 147 ## 39 next year.
Huawei reiterated that its smartphones would not support the Harmony OS operating system in 2019, thus confirming its commitment to the "Android" system.
According to the next website, Vincent Yang, vice president of Huawei, said that Huawei smartphones continue to support the "Android" system as long as the partnership with Google.
Due to numerous news that Huawei phones want to launch a smartphone that supports the system, Harmony OS Yang issued a statement confirming that the Chinese company would not provide a phone that supports the Harmony OS in 2019 or Next year.
This means that the smartphones that Huawei will launch this year will support the Android system, including the MAte 30 phone, which should be unveiled in September, according to leaks.
Yang, however, did not rule out the idea of relying on the new system if relations with Google were broken, especially since the US government had blacklisted Chinese society.
Huawei has previously announced that the Harmony operating system will be launched with other smart devices, such as smart TVs or smart home appliances.
It should be noted that Huawei has already launched the first Harmony OS-supported smart TV, named Honor Vision, whose price in China is around $ 537.
