Entgram removed the name used by a manager on his Instagram account to transfer it to the joint account of Prince Harry and his wife Megan.
Kevin Kelly created his account on the @sussexroyal account three years ago. His name should encourage him to be part of the Reading football team, famous for "Royal" and because Kelly lives in West Sussex.
But he discovered that Instagram had changed the name of his account without his knowledge and attributed it to the royal couple. Kelly says she is "impressed" by the choice of their name but feels "upset".
But Entgram said the name change was due to Kelly not using the account.
Kelly said that he had received a letter from his son, jokingly: "I see that your account is gone."
"I did not understand his intention at first, but I lost my account and saw that he had changed from @sussexroyal to @_sussexroyal _… I took the account! "
Kelly admits that he's not a lot of followers, that he does not publish a lot of pictures, but that he uses this account to follow others and lose what they publish.
He added that he had not received any contact from Instagram or the royal family to ask him to change accounts.
Harry and Megan have their royal title, Duke and Duke of Sussex.
Their account was released Tuesday, breaking the record of one million subscribers as quickly as possible.
He told the BBC that the name change in Kelly's account complied with the site's rules.
But Kelly is upset because he had not received a call from Entgram before the change and has not used his account on the site since this incident.
"I feel like a blockage that prevents me from using the site until I speak to someone personally," he said.
Kelly's Twitter account has the same name. I try to activate the account and post tweets so that the site can not confiscate my account if it wishes. "
What could Kelly say to Harry and Megan when he had the opportunity?
"Hi Harry and Megan If you also want my Twitter account, can you at least be as fit as you can and talk to me directly?"
Kelly says that he receives notices on his phone all the time and receives rude messages from Twitter users.
"I have not had it for years, and it's not good, and we have to get used to that, is not it?" I'm sure celebrities deal with this stuff all the time.
Kelly said that he often used an instagram from time to time, "but I will not follow the royal couple."
