Egyptian Mohamed Salah led his team to a 4-0 win over Bournemouth in the English Premier League on Saturday.
Salah took the lead and scored a hat trick in 25, 48 and 77 minutes, while Steve Cook of Bournemouth added a fourth goal in the 68th minute.
Salah raised his goals to ten goals to beat the league's top scorer with Pierre Emeric Obamyang of Gabon.
Liverpool lifted its lead to 42 points and jumped temporarily to the top of the table, waiting for the result of the match between Manchester City and Chelsea later in the day.
Bournemouth lost 23 points in seventh position, temporarily, on the goal difference behind Everton, against Manchester United, who will then face Fulham.
With the win, Liverpool maintains its undefeated run with its 13th league win against a draw in three games.
While Bournemouth had his seventh defeat in the league this season against seven wins and two draws.
