Kuznetsov said in a particular statement: “The Sputnik V vaccine consists of two components: The second injection is given to the patient 21 days after the first. The patient is considered vaccinated and protected against coronavirus infection, three weeks after the second injection, at this time, immunity is formed. “
The Russian medical official believed that the positive results of the analyzes of those who received the vaccine, as a rule, can be explained that at the time of “meeting the causative agent” of the coronavirus infection, they had no not yet developed immunity, as it had not passed long after vaccination.
Kuznetsov stressed that those who received the vaccine should commit to continuing to follow personal protective measures for at least three weeks after the administration of the second component.
It was reported earlier that three doctors from the Altai region who had received the vaccination with the “Sputnik V” vaccine were subsequently infected with the “Covid-19” virus.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Health had registered, in early August, the first vaccine in the world to prevent coronavirus infection, developed by specialists from the Gamalia center with the support of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, called “Sputnik V ”.
And as specialists confirm, the vaccine was prepared in such a way that two components of the drug were introduced at an interval of three weeks.
