The Ministry of Health reviewed its experience in the field of infection control in health facilities, participating in the activities of the "Fifth International Conference on Infection Control" which was held in Geneva from 10 to 13 September, in the presence of several countries, presenting 26 scientific documents, including 10 presentations of the King Faisal Medical Complex.
As part of its efforts to improve its services to patients and to maintain their health and safety, Health strives to improve the performance of its safe and infection-free health facilities, with a view to protecting patients, agents and health and visitors.
The Ministry of Health seeks to develop the skills of health practitioners in the field of infection prevention and control, as well as effective communication with infection control departments in the health facilities of the directorates, in addition to Conduct a comprehensive assessment to measure the level of compliance with infection control standards and requirements, and provide technical advice and support to health facilities in the area of infection prevention and control.
