Yesterday, the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy announced that electrical loads stood at 33.4 thousand megawatts last Wednesday, which is the highest load on the grid in previous years. She stressed that there had been no lightening of loads, noting the stability of the power supply for all needs, with a reserve of about 11.6 thousand megawatts.

Meanwhile, the Electricity Utilities Regulatory and Consumer Protection Agency’s Electricity Observatory revealed that the increase in generation reserve yesterday, Thursday, was about 14,000 megawatts.

The observatory confirmed that no load has been reduced, either by compulsory separation or by load reduction in coordination with subscribers. He explained that the maximum expected load today is 33.4 thousand megawatts.
