The 61st International Fair of Damascus will open Wednesday with the participation of 38 Arab and foreign countries, as well as business delegations from several Arab and foreign countries.
A delegation from the United Arab Emirates arrived at the Damascus airport Tuesday night to participate in the Damascus International Fair. This is the UAE's first participation in this exhibition since the deterioration of relations between the two countries in 2011.

The Iranian pavilion was the largest in terms of area, with an area of about 1200 square meters, while that of the United Arab Emirates was 500 square meters, the Chinese pavilion of about 380 square meters and the Russian pavilion of about 200 square meters, according to the director of the International Pavilion, Shaher Jawhara.

The exhibition, to which the Syrian government paid attention this year and titled "From Damascus to the World", has reached the largest reserved area in its history exceeding 100,000 square meters.
Today is limited to the official opening of the exhibition, while opening its doors to visitors on Thursdays from 17h to 23h and will continue until 6 September next.
