Tunisian actress Hend Sabri called the death of seven people who she said belonged to her "family", who died in the crash of the Ethiopian plane two days ago.
Sabri said in two tweets via Twitter that the seven people were not parents, but considered them "his family" as colleagues at the UN World Food Program.
"It's a tragic event, and we can only cry the soul of those who have left home to try to make the world a better place," Sabri said.
She continued, "I pray God to inspire patience and comfort to their families in this difficult time."
Hind Sabri has been appointed Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) since 2010.
On Sunday, an Ethiopian Boeing 737 crashed on a flight to Nairobi Kenya carrying 149 passengers and eight crew members.
(2/1) Today, I join the United Nations family in mourning the 19 aid workers who died in the crash of an Ethiopian plane, including seven members of my family at the World Food Program. .
