Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Abraham Accords represented historic breakthroughs in relations between Israel and the Arab world.

“At Christmas this year, millions of people around the world will once again send the traditional greeting (peace on earth),” he said in a congratulatory Christmas message.

In the message received by Al Ain News, he added: “Christmas comes as our world suffers from the terrible consequences of the Corona Covid-19 pandemic.”

Netanyahu added, “But here in the Middle East, something wonderful is happening which is our rapid progress towards the fulfillment of a prophecy (for peace on earth to come).”

The Israeli Prime Minister stressed that “over the past year, with the effective help of the United States and President Donald Trump, we have reached the Abrahamic Accords, which constitute historic breakthroughs in relations between Israel and the Arab world “.

He said: “Peace with the United Arab Emirates, peace with the Kingdom of Bahrain, peace with the Republic of Sudan and peace with the Kingdom of Morocco”.

He added: “After 26 years without new peace treaties, we have reached 4 agreements in less than four months. This is just the beginning.”

He continued: “As more and more Arab countries reformulate their traditional hostile positions towards Israel to seek reconciliation with the Jewish state, and instead of seeing Israel as its enemy, it regards us as a friend, as a ally, but rather as a vital ally and a vital partner for him. ”

Netanyahu said: “There is a new and radical transformation … which will make life better and the Middle East a better place for all of its inhabitants. It will make the world a better place.”

The Israeli Prime Minister said: “This Christmas, when you pray for Israel and pray for peace, know that your prayers are truly accepted. Peace come to earth.”
