AMD has joined the family of processors available on Chromebok computers to offer a new option that particularly affects the price of these devices.
HP unveiled its first AMD ChromeBook computer. The ChromeBook 14 is equipped with AMD A4 or A6 processors with Radeon R4 or Radeon R5 graphics, respectively. On the screen side, two options support touch at 1920 * 1080 pixels and do not support it with a resolution of less than 1366 * 768 pixels.
The other features do not differ much from other Chromebooks, with 4GB of RAM and 32MB of eMMC internal storage that can be supported with external memory cards. The device supports older USB ports and modern USB-C with a battery running more than 9 hours.
The computer will be available in three colors – white, gray and blue – starting at $ 269 and available for purchase later this month.
