The US search giant has revealed that Google applications and services will not be delivered to "Huawei" smartphones.
The move comes less than a month after the Chinese company unveiled its own operating system called Harmony.
The "Google" and the "Reuters" agency that, under US restrictions on trading with "Huawei", can not sell new licensed applications for phones. This includes popular apps such as Google Maps or Gmail, which are part of the Android operating system.
Huawei uses Google's Android operating system to run a range of its smartphones, but it may be that it now has to rely on HarmonyOS.
The company said it has been working on the development of the operating system for two years, with the assurance that the first option would be to continue using the "Android" system.
Huawei was blacklisted by the US government in May, after being accused of threatening the national security of the United States. The United States issued a temporary license to the company in early summer and renewed it again last week, allowing "Huawei" to maintain existing devices.
However, this procedure does not apply to new products, such as the Mate 30, Google said.
US companies could request certain products that could be exempted from the ban, but Google did not specify whether they were requesting such licenses.
A spokesman for Huawei said: "The company will continue to use the operating system (Android) OS, if the US government allows it otherwise we will continue to develop the operating system and our ecosystem . "
It should be noted that the next Mate 30 will be the first major phone issued by the Chinese company since the imposition of restrictions.
