Huawei officially unveils the arrival of the Huawei Watch GT2 smart watch

Huawei will officially unveil its latest Huawei Mate 30 Series with its latest HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor on Sept. 19, and the Chinese company will also unveil its flagship smartwatch this year. Who is likely to call Huawei Watch GT2.

Huawei announced by publishing a video on the Chinese social network Weibo. The video reveals nothing about the Huawei Watch GT2, though it's only going to be equipped with the company's latest chip for portable devices, called Kirin A1, the same chip used in new headphones without Huawei wire. Back to rumors and previous leaks, the new Huawei Watch GT 2 will feature a slightly larger screen and a smaller bezel, and will also be thinner and tighter. In addition, it will also contain a larger battery with a capacity of 445mAh. Note that the current Huawei Watch GT has a battery with a capacity of 420mAh. This new smartwatch will also include a microphone and amplifier, which means that you can make direct calls via it. This leads us to wonder if there is a version that supports the cellular networks of this smartwatch.

The GPS is still present in the new smartwatch and the same goes for the heart rate sensor. As you can see in the photos, there will be two models of this new smart watch, the first one will call Huawei Watch GT 2 Sport and will feature a black rubber band, while the second will be called Huawei Watch GT 2 Classic and will include a brown leather strap. As you might expect, this new Huawei smartwatch will run Huawei's operating system in place of Google's WearOS system.
