Huawei's Yu Chengdong confirmed at IFA that the company plans to launch its Mate X folding phone on the market between October and November, which has been postponed to a later date for further testing to ensure 39 effectiveness of the design and performance of the phone.

The Kirin 990 5G comes with the Balong 5000 chipset built into the CPU, which does not require a separate 5G chip to support 5G connectivity, and also supports a dual SA / NSA architecture and a full TDD / FDD architecture frequency.
The Kirin 990 chipset includes 4 large A76 cores and 4 small A55s. The processor also includes an ARM Mali G76 graphics card, offering 6% better performance than the previous version and 20% lower power consumption.
On the other hand, the Kirin 990 chipset incorporates DaVinci technology developed by Huawei in the architecture of NPU cores and micro-cores supporting the lowest power consumption of the processor, also takes support the Kirin ISP 5.0 processor chip and LPDDR4X memory standards, as well as UFS 2.1 / 3.0 standards, and UFS 2.1 / 3.0 flash memory standards. The Kirin 990 chip also has a download speed of 2.3 Gbps. We are therefore anticipating the performance of the processor chip in future versions of Huawei's flagship phones.
