Chinese rival Huawei surprised his South Korean competitor Samsung by announcing a new announcement called "shocking".
Huawei is preparing to release its version of the folding phone Huawei Mitt during its participation Monday, February 25 at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
This comes just days after Samsung announced its new version of the Galaxy Fold phone.
Huawei has released a photo showing a banner with a "folding" phone, but a set of scaffolding has masked much of the poster.
The sign displays a long, open and closed phone in the middle, and in a second, it seems bent.
"The world's first fifth-generation folding phone", as well as the words "Huawei Dead X" written directly below.
According to the photo, the Huawei foldable phone is different from the Samsung Galaxy Pack, equipped with a touch screen from the outside and foldable inside.
But the Huawei Mitt X comes with a folding touch screen that wraps the outside of the phone when it is folded, so that the user can only use the visible part of this screen.
