Human rights warn after harassing a veil on Twitter

Citizen – Riyadh

The Commission on Human Rights has warned against the harassment of all words, actions or references, even via communication sites.

The Commission has stated the following: Any statement or act or signal of sexual significance to women, regardless of the medium used, including communication sites, constitutes a harassment offense punishable by a sentence of up to two years in prison and a fine of 100,000 riyals.

The tweeters had broadcast a video of a person's comment about a woman's appearance on television.

This passage provoked contempt and resentment among citizens who regarded the behavior of this person as harassment and should be punished in accordance with the regulations.

The singers called a "stalker with a veil" to demand punishment from the man who filmed the TV by commenting on two women and a man who appeared in a television interview.
