Reina, the 8-year-old girl, did not know the dimensions of her illness and had a hair on her back. She only wanted to get her hair back as long as they were. "I want to see her young woman," she said.
"Reina was a girl who loved life, full of joy and activity, before her activity became less and less tired until we brought her back to the hospital after her face has become pale, "said his mother to An Nahar.
The test results were unexpected and based on which they were transferred to the Children's Cancer Center. There, the family discovered that Rina had leukemia. "Reena knew nothing about her illness, her life changed a lot," said her mother. "She was no longer able to go to school or see her friends, she was sad and emotionally tired."
One question was, "Why am I sick and when am I going to recover?" Said her mother, "Fear dominated our future, but it soon began to fade slowly thanks to the support of the staff. Reina, like her family, can forget the hardest times she has ever known "when she lost all her hair."
These difficult times did not last very long, the #FutureReina campaign (the future of Reina) helped her to overcome this problem thanks to the center's moral and psychological support. This video helped Reina accept her illness because she really touched the support and the love of people, even those she did not know. Today, Reina has a lot to say to the rest of the kids. "She wants children to accept their illness in order to overcome it and live their lives with joy and love despite cancer," she says.
Today, Reina has gone through the difficult phase of her treatment, returning to her normal life, to her school and to her friends. With its experience, the Childhood Cancer Center launched the campaign #FutureReina, designed by the Lebanese Republic, which tells the story of "Reina" (8 years), who has cancer. Using artificial intelligence techniques, Robocom's artificial intelligence team was able to model Reina's future character, sound, and image.
Through this simulation, which represents a promising future for Rina, the campaign has focused on the fact that support from the center through donations ensures Reina's vision and reality as such in the future. His future will become reality. "
Sherine El Khoury directed the film, which required five months of intensive work with a team of more than 40 people specializing in data, artificial intelligence programs and animation systems, as well as in the fields of photography. The team founded a collection of photographs of the Reina family to analyze age-related family changes, to create an image as close as possible to what Rena would be in the future.
