Zamalek crowned the first football team, the title of the Egyptian Cup for the 27th time in its history and the second in a row, after the 3-0 win against Pyramids on Sunday in the final of the competition that had held at the Egyptian Army Stadium in Borg El Arab.
Youssef Obama opened the scoring for Zamalek in the 52nd minute, while Morocco's Ashraf Ben Chergui scored the second and third goals in the 63rd and 84th minutes.
Zamalek continued to dominate the trophy after winning the trophy for the sixth time in the past seven seasons, to compensate their fans for not winning the Egyptian title, won by rivals Al-Ahly.
