Al-Marsad Journal: Tony Bradinger, the first Arab NASCAR driver, takes part in the new season of the race, which takes place in Daytona, Florida, and which goes down in history as the first Arab-American driver, according to the official “NASCAR” site.
Pridinger (21), of Lebanese descent, is expected to drive two Chevrolet NASCAR car models, according to the NBC News website reported in US media.
And her auto racing journey began when she was nine, when she and her twin sister were driving go-kart cars.
Pridinger said she aspires to be one of the top 10 places in the race, considered the biggest of her career.
She explained that she was eager to pave the way for Arab women pilots who aspire to compete in this type of racing, according to CNN.
In the races that took place last Saturday, she managed to reach the top twenty places and finished 11th, and finished the race in 18th, having survived a crash on lap 29.
