In sudden escalation, Elon Musk accuses Biden administration of ‘bias’ against Tesla

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said President Joe Biden and his administration were “biased against his company,” which was not invited to a recent White House event promoting electric cars.

And Musk blasted the critics, saying at the Code conference in Beverly Hills, Calif., On Tuesday that the US administration was “not the friendliest and most union-controlled.” He said he would prefer to see a “more centrist” president.

Tesla, headquartered in Palo Alto, Calif., Employs approximately 10,000 workers at its Fremont plant. The UAW has made several attempts to create union activities there.

On the other hand, with global doubts about China’s classification as an investment market, the CEO of Tesla stressed the electric car maker’s commitment to China, saying, “Tesla will continue to expand its investments in the country ”.

Musk’s comments came in the form of a pre-recorded question-and-answer session at the World Internet Conference, hosted by the China Cyberspace Administration.

Less than two weeks ago, Musk told the World Conference on New Energy Vehicles that Chinese automakers were “the most competitive in the world.”
