Milan drew a positive 2-2 draw at their guesthouse Verona at the deadly moment of the match that brought them together today, Sunday, in the seventh round of the Italian Football League “Calcio”.
The guests led two clear goals by Czech Antonin Barak and David Calabria, by mistake, in his own net in the 6th and 19th minutes, respectively.
Verona defender Giangiacomo Magnani reduced the score as he scored an own goal in the 27th minute.
Sweden’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed a golden opportunity to draw a 66th-minute draw by missing a penalty, before catching up and scoring a magnificent header in the third minute of the game’s time-out.
With this draw, Milan took their lead to 17 points, and Verona raised their score to 12 points in eighth place in the “Calcio” team table.
