"International Acclamation" of the Arab World Bank's Digital Economy Vision "

United Nations Under-Secretary-General Murad Wehbe, Deputy Director and Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Regional Office for the Arab States, commended the joint strategic vision of the United Nations by the Arab economy and the resulting programs and projects. This occurred at the coordination meetings organized by the Arab Economic Unity Council delegation to the League of Arab States under the chairmanship of Mr. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Council Adviser to several organizations. The Council and the League of Arab States have released the first project in partnership with several international organizations and a committee of 65 international experts in various fields of the digital economy. The project includes a detailed explanation of the objectives of the implementation of the strategic vision and programs and their economic and social impacts, the imposition of overall development and the achievement of the objectives of global sustainable development as well as the support to the digital environment of innovation in the Arab region.

The study showed that the digital economy would have a significant impact on the Arab world: by 2030, its GDP could reach $ 4 trillion when strategic vision programs are implemented. The total numerical impact of digital maturity in the Arab region could reach $ 333 billion a year, generating 60 million new jobs over the next two decades.
