The annual international conference organized by the Moroccan Moqarabat Foundation in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture of Fez will begin on Friday, December 18, where it will address the theme of “Social and cultural transformations in the Arab world” for two days.
Researchers and academics from Morocco and Arab and European countries will participate in the conference and will include 10 scientific sessions dealing with various issues related to the current situation in the Arab world, such as issues of modernization, identity, cultural transformations, trajectories of movement and various problems in sociology and literature. The conference will also witness the announcement of the results of the Approaches to Scientific Research Prize which is worth sixty thousand dirhams, which are allocated to participating research.
The number of articles in competition reached more than 70 articles, of which 17 were shortlisted in the fields “human and social sciences” and “literature and arts”.
