International Space Station stops working to disrupt new battery
The International Space Agency (NASA) has announced that one of the new batteries installed on the International Space Station (ISS) had recently been disrupted.
She pointed out that her ground control center experts had tried to restart the power systems in order to restore the battery, but to no avail.
"One of the three batteries confirmed by astronauts Nick Hegg and Anne Maclean on March 22 on the US space station is out of service after days of installation," said the agency in a statement.

The agency explained that the failure of this battery would not be an obstacle to the work of the station and the pioneers on board, because the station is equipped with emergency power systems. The battery was installed as part of a NASA campaign to replace the station's old batteries. On March 29, astronauts Nick Heig and Christina Cook are expected to launch another mission: to open a space to replace three old batteries by more sophisticated lithium-based batteries.
