“IPhone 13” will go back in time … to adapt to the virus

According to “Bloomberg”, the integrated fingerprint reader is the most important feature tested by Apple during the current year.

Starting with the “iPhone X” phone, “Apple” has launched all “iPhones” without a fingerprint reader except “iPhone SE” announced in 2020.

The fingerprint reader was abandoned in an effort to rely on an alternative solution, the biometric facial recognition function.

But it later turned out that the facial recognition function was the weakest performance, in practice, especially in light of the current epidemic in which people have to wear masks, and they may find it difficult to fully expose their face when they are outdoors.

As a result, many people found themselves forced to enter the secret “code” in order to avoid removing the protective mask of the emerging corona virus.

However, “Apple” might not benefit from this feature, as it is not a “big gain” in the eyes of “Apple” users, given that it has been available for years on competing “Samsung” phones.

Apple will not ditch the facial recognition feature, but will only add the fingerprint reader, so that the user has more options when they intend to unlock the lock.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that “Apple” intends to remove the charging port from one of the “iPhone 13” models, in order to switch to wireless charging.

More news is spreading that “Apple” has developed an iPhone with a foldable screen, similar to what Samsung had done before.

But the “Apple” company has not yet decided on any steps regarding a foldable iPhone, and there are no experimental models yet, as part of the preparations for the devices in September 2021.
