Communication – Agencies:

Several recent reports have pointed to weak sales of iPhone phones, but a new report by Anne Lee, market analyst at Nomura, predicts further sales declines in 2019 and 2020.

Lee estimates that Apple's sales will rise from 213 million units in 2018 to 204 in 2019, and then to 200 million by 2020, according to the Indian phonearena website.

According to the report, Apple will retain the design language provided with the iPhone X in 2019, which means that future phones will succeed the iPhone XR, the iPhone XS and the iPhone. IPhone XS Max will be identical to the devices of the current generation in terms of design. The usual improvement of the interior and the camera will feature some additional augmented reality features, according to the analyst.

As a direct result, Apple is expected to introduce external changes to its phones in 2020, although unidentified.
